THE Enchanted Forest in Pitlochry is back for another year, seeing families across the country dazzled by the spectacle.

The annual event, which takes place in Faskally Wood, is promising "kaleidoscopic outdoor experience" for all ages through lights and music. 

According to the organisers, more than 800,000 visitors have come from all over the world to visit the forest over the last two decades.

The Enchanted Forest near Pitlochry, Scotland will return tonight with tickets being available online.

The event will run from Thursday, October 3 until Sunday, November 3.

How to get tickets for The Enchanted Forest near Pitlochry

Those looking to get tickets for the event can do so on The Enchanted Forest website.

On the booking page, there are two options available to visitors: Main Departures and Accessibility Departures.

Main Departures is the option used by most visitors and involves everybody getting onto a luxury bus from Pitlochry to the forest.

The latter is aimed at those with mobility issues who find boarding a standard coach difficult.

How long does it take to walk around The Enchanted Forest?

A leisurely stroll around The Enchanted Forest should take around an hour to complete.

The organisers state: "You are free to stay as long as you like to enjoy the show. a full circuit (1.8km) of the forest should take you around 60 minutes walking at a leisurely pace.

"Buses return to Pitlochry continuously throughout the night. The last bus will leave between 10.30pm and 11pm, depending on visitor numbers remaining on site."
