A young man has died after a late-night shooting.

Police were called to reports that shots had been fired in Bravington Road, West Kilburn, at around 11pm yesterday evening (September 4).

A man aged in his 20s was found in the street suffering from gunshot wounds.

Despite efforts to treat him at the scene, he was declared dead shortly before midnight.

Police are working to inform his next of kin and a crime scene remains in place in the road.

No arrests have been made but police enquiries continue.
