Around 1,000 people enjoyed games, costume making and steel pan workshops at a Caribbean-themed carnival.

Just INCarnival’s Carnival in the Park, took place in Claremont Park, Brent Cross Town, on August 17.

From 1pm to 6pm, crowds enjoyed the best traditions of Caribbean Carnival with costume-making, steel pan workshops, carnival-themed dance and fitness classes, carnival games, face painting, and henna tattoos.

Justin Thomas, who co-founded and organised the carnival with Dianne Ramdeen, said: “It was great to see children from a wide variety of backgrounds participating in the activities, wearing the costumes and dancing along to the steelpan and carnival music.”
