A teenager has been killed after a shooting in a park.
The boy, 15, was found with injuries after reports of a shooting near Hazlewood Crescent, Ladbroke Grove, on Sunday (July 21) at 7.20pm.
Emergency services were called to the Emslie Horniman's Pleasance park, which is a short distance to Maida Vale, and tried treating him at the scene.
But despite their best efforts, he was pronounced dead.
The Metropolitan Police says work is ongoing to identify and inform his next of kin and no other injuries were reported.
Six males, whose ages have not been specified at this time, were arrested on suspicion of murder and remain in custody.
A crime scene remains in place near the park.
