A coroner will hold an inquest into the deaths of three university students killed in a car crash.
Five men, understood to have been friends, were involved in the crash at Staples Corner Retail Park, near Brent Cross, at around 11.26pm on April 14.
Mohamad Zeidani, 21, Mohammed Ghazzi, 21, and Sohail Zulfiqar, 20, have been named as the victims who lost their lives. Two others in the same car were taken to hospital and are now out of danger.
The North London Coroner’s Service says that an open hearing for the three will be held on July 16.
The three died when a car crashed through a car park fence and down an embankment, hitting a footbridge.
Loved ones and friends of the three have since raised tens of thousands of pounds in their memory.
Sohail, who lived in Wembley, attended Brunel University in Uxbridge and according to his brother who spoke to the Daily Mail, was just ten days away from his 21st birthday.
Mohamad, a Royal Holloway student, was described on a GoFundMe page in his memory as a “cherished member of our community”.
And Mohammed was described as an “exceptional character” on his fundraising page.
Detective Sergeant Paul Jackson, who is leading an investigation into the fatal crash, said that the three lives were “taken far too young” and that their “families deserve answers”.
