A major police presence has been pictured at the scene of a double stabbing in Kilburn.
A man and a woman were found injured opposite Kilburn High Road station just after 12pm today (April 25).
The woman, in her 20s, was taken to hospital where her condition was assessed as non life-threatening.
Further enquiries found that the man, in his 50s, suffered a slash wound to his hand.
He was also taken to hospital where his condition was assessed as non life-threatening.
Officers say the man and woman are known to each other.
A 21-year old man has been arrested on suspicion of possession of an offensive weapon and GBH.
He was also taken to hospital before being taken into custody.
Kilburn High Road was closed both ways between Belsize Road and Cambridge Avenue.
There was also congestion to Kilburn Park Road northbound, back to Willesden Lane southbound, according to AA.
But the road has since reopened.
