A motorbike rider is fighting for his life in hospital after a crash with a Mercedes in Edgware.
The crash happened just before 9pm in West Hendon Broadway (A5) on January 5.
A black Mercedes had been travelling southbound along the road, before attempting to turn right at the traffic lights into Cool Oak Lane.
It then collided with a Kawasaki motorbike that was travelling northbound along the road.
The motorbike hit a lamppost, and the rider had to be rushed to hospital by London Ambulance Service.
He remains in hospital in a critical condition.
The driver of the Mercedes was uninjured and stopped at the scene of the crash.
They subsequently attended a police station where they were interviewed under caution. They have not been arrested.
Enquiries into the circumstances of the crash continue, and police have now appealed for any witnesses, including those with footage of the incident, to get in touch.
Anyone with information is asked to call the serious collision investigation unit at Alperton on 0208 246 9820, or to call 101, quoting reference CAD 6776/05JAN24.
