A horror end to 2023 between Christmas and the New Year in London saw seven stabbings where four of the victims died.

The week beginning December 24 saw a string of attacks in Primrose Hill, Hackney, Bermondsey, Camden, Wallington, Tower Hamlets and Plumstead.

Boy, 16, dies after stabbing in Primrose Hill

A 16-year-old boy has died after a stabbing in Primrose Hill.

Harry Pitman was attacked as he waited with friends to watch the London New Year fireworks at around 11.40pm on December 31.

He was pronounced dead at the scene shortly before midnight.

A 16-year-old boy was arrested at the scene on suspicion of murder.

He was released on bail pending further enquiries.

Man dies after stabbing in Shoreditch

A 49-year-old man has died after a stabbing in Shoreditch.

Michael John Murphy was found injured in Cranwood Street at 3.10am on December 26.

He was pronounced dead at the scene shortly after.  

Police believe an argument involving up to ten people led to the knife attack.

Four people, two men aged 49 and 42, and two women aged 35 and 44, were arrested on suspicion of murder but have been released with no further action.

Boy, 16, arrested after woman stabbed to death in Bermondsey

A 22-year-old woman has died after being stabbed to death in Bermondsey.

Kacey Clarke was stabbed at a home in Spenlow House in Jamaica Road just after 10pm on December 24.

Kacey died at the scene, and a post-mortem examination gave cause of death as a single sharp force trauma to the chest.

A 16-year-old boy was arrested on the night of the attack and was due to appear at Croydon Magistrates’ Court on December 28 charged with murder.

Man, 29, dies after stabbing in Camden

A 29-year-old man has died after a stabbing in Camden.

The incident happened near Gaymead, in Abbey Estate, Abbey Road, just before 7.30pm on December 29.

The man was found injured and taken to a west London hospital where he was pronounced dead at 9.55pm.

No arrests have been made.

Man, 27, taken to hospital after stabbing in Wallington

A 27-year-old man was taken to hospital after a stabbing in Wallington.

The incident happened in Stafford Road just after 3.10pm on December 24.

Police and London Ambulance Service crews attended and found a man injured.

He was taken to hospital where his condition was assessed as not life-threatening.

No arrests have been made.

Man, 18, taken to hospital after stabbing outside Tower Hamlets park

An 18-year-old man was taken to hospital after a stabbing in Tower Hamlets.

The incident happened in Manchester Road near the entrance of Millwall Park a 2.23pm on December 27.

He was taken to hospital where his condition was assessed as not life threatening.

No arrests have been made.

Man taken to hospital after stabbing near Plumstead station

A man was taken to hospital after a stabbing in Plumstead. 

The incident happened near Plumstead Railway Station at 5pm on December 31.

The man was taken to hospital where his injuries were assessed as not life-threatening.

Police also found a BB gun near to the scene.

No arrests have been made.
