Ambulance service personnel rushed to the scene of a lorry crash but were unable to save an elderly pedestrian.
London Ambulance Service were called to Kilburn High Road just after 3.15pm on Saturday (November 27).
There had been reports of a crash between a lorry and a pedestrian.
An ambulance crew, a medic in a fast response car and an incident response officer all attended the scene.
A LAS spokesperson said: “Sadly, a person was pronounced dead at the scene”.
Police have confirmed that a 71-year-old man died following the crash.
The driver of the lorry stopped nearby a short time later and was spoken to by officers.
No arrests have been made. Any witnesses are asked to call 101 quoting reference CAD 4240/25Nov.
