KFC has confirmed that it has closed down a branch for good.
The well-known fried chicken fast food chain put up a notice at its door that the Kilburn High Road branch permanently closed its doors on Sunday (October 22).
A spokesperson said: “It’s been a great run, but all good things must come to an end and this week we closed our doors for good at KFC Kilburn High Road.
“We hate goodbyes, but we’re pleased to say that fans can still get their fried chicken fix just down the road at our Hampstead Haverstock Hill or Swiss Cottage restaurants.”
One social media commenter did not seem unhappy at the closure. Life In Kilburn posted on X: "KFC Kilburn has closed down. Too many chicken shops? Won't miss the greasy bags left out on the narrow pavement."

KFC was also asked for the reason behind the sudden closure, as there had been no prior indication the branch was close, but the spokesperson declined to comment.
