A man has been charged with murder after a fatal stabbing near to Wembley Stadium.
Police cordons were in place for much of last week after Hamza Iqbal, 25, was killed in Olympic Way on September 24.
The victim from Brent was allegedly chased before he was attacked by a group of people.
Joshua Oladele, of Wyld Way, Wembley, has been charged with murder and possession of an offensive weapon.
The 19-year-old appeared in custody at Barkingside Magistrates’ Court on Monday (October 2) and was remanded in custody to appear at the Old Bailey on Wednesday (October 4).
Two other men, both 19, were arrested on suspicion of murder and have been bailed pending further enquiries in December.
Two women, 19 and 29, were arrested on suspicion of assisting an offender and have been bailed pending further enquiries to dates in December.
A post-mortem examination took place last Wednesday (September 27) and gave a preliminary cause of death as sharp force trauma to the chest.
Emergency services were called just after 11pm that day to reports of a stabbing and at the scene officers gave him CPR ahead of the arrival of paramedics.
He was then treated by paramedics and rushed to hospital, but he was pronounced dead shortly after his arrival.
A section of Olympic Way was cordoned off for at least four days last week, with restricted access to the front of Novotel and the Costa shut completely.
The public were diverted around the path to the stadium, and instead had to walk through the Stadium Retail Park to be able to continue walking to Boxpark, the stadium and the London Designer Outlet.
Police say enquiries into the circumstances continue.
