A teenager was taken to hospital with slash wounds after a large fight.
Further details have emerged about an incident involving a knife in Cairnfield Avenue, Neasden, which triggered a police stop and search order on Sunday (September 25) across parts of Brent.
Officers were called to the road at around 10.25pm to reports of a large fight, the Metropolitan Police have now said.
A teenage boy, 17, was found with slash wounds. He was taken to hospital and is in a stable condition.
Detectives from North West CID are investigating and enquiries continue, with no arrests made at this time.
Initially when news broke about another Brent stabbing in Wembley Park, which was near to the same time as the Neasden incident, the Met told the Brent & Kilburn Times it could not share any more information about what happened in Neasden.
However the force did clarify the incident in Neasden was why a stop and search order was in place across the borough that night, including Wembley Park, Dollis Hill, Welsh Harp, Willesden Green, Cricklewood & Mapesbury and Tokyngton.
Due to several incidents of serious violence, a S60 Stop & Search authorisation is in place until 0900 hrs covering Dollis Hill, Welsh Harp, Willesden Green, Cricklewood & Mapesbury, Wembley Park and Tokyngton wards
