A murder investigation has launched as a man has died after being stabbed in his home.
Gary Sampson, 34, of Westcroft Close in Cricklewood, has been named as the man killed in a murder at the same address on Friday (September 8).
Emergency services were called to the scene at around 8.10am to reports of a critically injured man.
Gary was found with a stab injury and despite the best efforts of paramedics, he died at the scene.
A post-mortem examination held on Saturday (September 9) gave the cause of death as a shock and haemorrhaging caused by a stab wound.
Marie Nellie, 44, who also lives in Westcroft Close, was arrested at the scene and was taken into police custody.
She will appear at Highbury Magistrates’ Court on Monday (September 11) charged with murder.
Police have confirmed that Nellie was known to the victim and at this stage nobody else is sought in connection with the incident.
A crime scene remains in place at the address in Westcroft Close.
