A man has been charged after a woman was threatened with a crossbow.
Samir Hamady, of Kilburn Park Road, Kilburn, was arrested on July 23 when armed police swarmed the area after being called at 6.02pm amid concerns for the welfare of a woman.
Hamady, 25, was arrested on suspicion of false imprisonment and possession of a crossbow, the Metropolitan Police have said.
He was charged last Tuesday (July 25) with threatening a person with an offensive weapon in a private place, assault and two counts of criminal damage.
He appeared at Westminster Magistrates’ Court the same day, where he was remanded in custody.
He will next appear at Southwark Crown Court on August 22.
