Police are hunting for a man suspected of driving into a man before stabbing another man who tried to stop him from fleeing the scene.
Police said that at around 1am on May 13 a grey Audi crashed into a 20-year-old man in Dudden Hill Lane, Willesden.
After the driver attempted to get away, a number of people including a friend of the injured man surrounded the car to stop it from moving.
At this point, the Audi driver allegedly jumped out of his car and stabbed the friend in the arm.
The suspect reportedly then got back into the car and drove along Dudden Hill Road towards Neasden.
Both victims were taken to hospital and treated for their injuries. The man who had been hit by the car was treated for a broken femur, but neither man’s injuries are life-threatening.
Investigating officer Detective Constable Alexandru Ciobanu said: “This was a shocking incident which left two men with serious injuries. We need to identify and find the suspect as soon as possible.
“I’m aware that there were a number of witnesses at the scene who we are yet to speak to and would encourage anyone with information that could assist our investigation to get in touch.”
