Police are investigating after a woman died following a flat fire.
A small part of a bedroom in a first-floor flat in a mid-terraced block in Purves Road, Kensal Rise, was damaged by fire.
A woman was pronounced dead at the scene.
The London Fire Brigade was called at 11.02am and the fire was under control by 11.26am.
Three fire engines and around 15 firefighters from North Kensington, Willesden and West Hampstead fire stations were in attendance.
The cause of the fire is under investigation by the fire service and the Metropolitan Police Service.
