A woman feared that water would seep into her home after a burst water main flooded a residential road.
Footage shows that Hollycroft Avenue, near Preston Road, was covered in water this morning (June 25).
Affinity Water says there was a burst water main in area, which led to water supply issues within the HA0 and HA9 postcodes.
A technician first made their way to the scene at 6.40m and by 9.30am the water supply was restored to most homes.
Work continued up until 12.25pm to repair the burst main.
Sue Beale, a resident in the area, said she awoke to the flooded road at 6.30am.
She said: “It was almost about to enter my home, [my] garden was flooded too.”
Despite the water covering the majority of the road, her house wasn’t damaged by the water.
The road has since been cleared.
Other footage shared online showed water gushing down Preston Road, with one person jokingly calling it the "seas of Preston Road".
