A man is in hospital after reports of “gunshots” in a north London street.
Police were called to Barry Road, Stonebridge at around 7.50pm yesterday evening (June 22) to reports of a “firearm discharge”.
When officers arrived, they could not find anyone at the scene.
A short while later, a man, believed to be aged in his 20s, took himself to hospital with a gunshot injury.
His condition is not thought to be life-threatening.
Pictures showed a police cordon in place in Barry Road following the incident.
Officers said that there had been no arrests and enquiries into the circumstances continue.
