The blaze broke out in the two-storey terraced home on Aylesbury Street on the evening of March 3, damaging half of the ground floor.
The man was rescued by fire crews using a short extension ladder, after which he was taken to hospital to receive treatment for smoke inhalation.
A spokesperson for the London Fire Brigade (LFB) said it was called at 6.54pm, with the fire under control by 7.52pm.
A total of four fire engines and around 25 firefighters were called to the scene, with crews from Willesden, Wembley and Park Royal stations in attendance.
The cause of the fire is under investigation.
