Two women were treated for smoke inhalation after candle caused a blaze in a flat.
Four fire engines and around 25 firefighters tackled the fire in Marshall Street in Stonebridge Park at 2.14am this morning (January 19).
Most of a kitchen in a split-level maisonette on the second and third floors of a building was damaged in the fire, London Fire Brigade (LFB) said.

Five people left the property before the brigade arrived.
Two women were treated for smoke inhalation by London Ambulance Service crews.
The fire is believed to have been accidental and caused by a candle.
The blaze was under control by 3.59am.
An LFB spokesperson said: “Candles, incense sticks and oil burners are one of the most common causes of fire. It’s really important that you never leave a candle unattended and keep them away from anything that can easily catch fire.
“You should also ensure they are in a heat-resistant holder and placed on a stable surface so they won’t be knocked over.”
They said tea lights get very hot and without proper holders can melt through plastic surfaces like a TV or bath.
Firefighters from Willesden, Park Royal and Wembley fire stations attended the scene.
