Simply, thank you!
We are living in unprecedented times. We start by offering a heartfelt wish that you are all keeping well and keeping safe. We pay tribute to those we have lost.
And we say thank you!
Thank you to our NHS, putting their lives on the frontline, battling to keep people alive. Thank you to the doctors, the nurses, the GPs, pharmacists, all NHS staff at Northwick Park and beyond.
Thank you to our care workers, looking after our elderly. Thank you to those in care homes and those continuing visits to look after the vulnerable.
Thank you to our foodbanks, supplying food parcels and hot food. Thank you to Sufra and the Trussell Trust, and all others who are getting food to those in need.
Thank you to all individuals, organisations and Mutual Aid groups, with hundreds of volunteers helping with shopping, medication pickups and food deliveries.
Thank you to our teachers, parents and the children, working together to keep their learning going. Thank you to the council, directing resources to help supply food and assistance to those in need. Thank you to the directors, officers, all the staff, helping to provide these services, with continually stretched resources.
Thank you to our faith organisations, each demonstrating the value of helping in times of need. Thank you to our churches, our mosques, our temples and our synagogues for all you are doing to keep people going.
There is still much for us all to do, to ensure we protect the most vulnerable. This is what we are about. And you are the best of who we are.
