The front of a car was left wrecked after a crash in the early morning.
Preston Road has been closed both ways from Forty Avenue and St Augustine's Avenue following a crash at 1.16am today (April 25).
Footage shows that the driver drove the car into a tree.
One eyewitness says that "everyone ran out in aid" and emergency services arrived in minutes.
A spokesperon for the Met says: "A male was taken to hospital. His condition is not life-threatening."
Bus routes 79 and 204 are currently being diverted due to the closure.
